Zeppelin shows their compact Cat machines at the Kloakmessen
When the Sewage Fair in Fredericia opens its doors in January, Zeppelin Danmark A/S will be there again with a selection of Cat machines targeted at the sewage and construction industry.
- We find that the fair is quite unique for us because it is focused on one industry. This means that the visitors are professionals and decision-makers who are relevant to us - where other events are often broader and with more 'disruptions', says Lars R. Poulsen, Senior Marketing & Communication Specialist at Zeppelin Denmark.
At the fair, Zeppelin is particularly highlighting their compact excavators and wheel loaders, which are suitable for sewer work, climate adaptation and other related tasks underground.
- Among other things, we are bringing the Cat 301.8 to Fredericia - one of our most popular models in the two-ton class, which is easy to transport on a trailer and at the same time strong and productive. In addition, we will probably show a 302 model and a compact loader in the five-six ton class, says Lars R. Poulsen.
Important dialogue with the industry
For Zeppelin, the fair is not only about showing off machines, but also about listening to the market.
- We obviously want to pave the way for some sales, but it's also about gaining insight into the challenges our customers face in their everyday lives - so we can make our machines even more relevant, says Lars R. Poulsen and continues:
- We would like to engage in dialogue with the sewer engineers about their everyday lives - both in terms of economy, the machines' productivity and driver comfort. Comfort and ergonomics are parameters that we prioritize highly: Low noise levels, good visibility, intuitive joystick control and a workplace where you can sit for many hours without getting tired, says Lars R. Poulsen.
He adds that the sewage industry is becoming more and more important at Zeppelin, and the company sees a growing need for compact machines for tasks involving drains, worn pipes and climate adaptation, among other things.
- There is enough to do in the industry, and we are experiencing an increasing demand for the smaller Cat machines that are suitable for the tasks - so we are very much looking forward to meeting the industry at the Sewage Fair, states Lars R. Poulsen.
