We Garn-ter a party for Creative Days

Look forward to diving deep into the world of yarn when Kreative Dage opens the doors to the Nordic region's largest creative fair in October in Fredericia. As always, the fair brings together all branches of needlework and crafts, but this year we have a special focus on yarn and all aspects of working with yarn. From processing the wool, to dyeing the yarn to the needlework itself, crocheting, knitting, weaving, embroidery, felting and much more. A true Eldorado for those who love to have yarn in their hands.
"We could see from the feedback from our visitors last year that they were asking for more yarn at the fair,” says project manager, Kim Skovby Klindt from MESSE C. ”There was a particular desire to put more spotlight on tips, trends and techniques, so that you can leave the fair with new inspiration for your next project.", continues Kim Skovby Klindt.
The focal point for yarn at Kreative Dage will be a Yarn Market in the middle of the hall, where you can experience new trends, meet specialists in all disciplines of yarn, and participate in workshops that can help you further, whether you are a beginner or experienced in the world of yarn. And last but not least, you can have fun with other yarn enthusiasts and enjoy a cup of coffee while sharing experiences about your knitting and crochet projects.
The idea for the Yarn Square was developed in collaboration with yarn exhibitors at the fair, who also contribute decorations to the square.
"We have involved the yarn exhibitors at the fair to get their input on what it takes to create an inspiring yarn universe.", says Kim Skovby Klindt.And we have established a special collaboration with the popular yarn brand, Krea Deluxe, which will help bring the ideas to life with their knowledge and network."
In addition to the many activities at Garntorvet, yarn will also be celebrated with a big yarn show that will be held on the large Krea Stage every day during the fair. There will be entertainment, competitions and a lot of great yarn prizes, so come along for lots of laughs and yarn.
