Pia Olsen Dyhr in conversation with Maria Bjerg/Skaberglæde

MESSE CCreative Days

Look forward to experiencing an exciting conversation where Maria Bjerg, the woman behind Skaberglæde, talks with the chairman of SF and knitting enthusiast, Pia Olsen Dyhr at Kreative Dage in Messe C, Fredericia.

Based on Craft psychology, Maria talks to Pia about how practicing needlework goes hand in hand with a busy everyday life in politics and what importance it has in creating well-being and peace of mind.

The conversation with Pia Olsen Dyhr is one of three conversations that Maria has during Creative Days, where we try to learn more about the secret behind the joy of life that comes from using your hands creatively.

“We have always thought that Kreative Dage has the happiest guests, and now we have set out to find out what it is about crafts and needlework that makes you so happy,” says project manager for the fair, Kim Skovby Klindt. “That is why Maria has been sent on this mission at the fair, where we go behind the masks, so to speak…”

Another side of the politician

Pia Olsen Dyhr has been a member of the Danish Parliament since 2006, and has been the chairwoman of the Socialist Party since 2014. She has been both Minister of Trade and Investment and Minister of Transport, and has generally left a significant mark on Danish politics for many years.
Over the past few years, Denmark has discovered another side of Pia Olsen Dyhr, namely the knitting enthusiast, who is diligently knitting when she is around the country discussing politics – often wearing one of her beautiful, home-knitted sweaters.

At Creative Days, Pia also brings her knitting, and in the conversation with Maria Bjerg, it's not about politics. It's about how knitting helps create balance and calm when things are going fast.

Host of the talk

Maria Bjerg, who hosts these talks, is known for her Instagram profile Skaberglæde. Maria has a BA in Psychology and is trained in Craft Psychology. She also has experience in knitting her way out of a long-term stress process and today the joy of creating is one of the most important things in her life.

The conversation between Maria Bjerg and Pia Olsen Dyhr will take place on Friday, October 24th at 13.15:XNUMX PM at Kreative Dage in Messe C in Fredericia.

The other two conversations, where Maria meets an interesting person, will be published later.
