New furniture fair is right in the closet

At the end of April, the retail sector in the Danish furniture industry can experience news and plan for the upcoming season when the shopping fair MESSE C FurnitureFair premieres in Fredericia.

One of the initiators, furniture agent Henrik Ejstrup, is pleased with the great support the innovation has received, which has already resulted in an expansion of the exhibition area.

- I think it is important to gather as much of the furniture industry as possible in one place, instead of customers having to travel all over the country. Now we have some fantastic frameworks, a location very central in the country and a fixed date that the entire industry can plan towards every year - it makes it much easier for all parties, states Henrik Ejstrup.

Henrik Ejstrup represents CASØ Furniture, Matex and Design Møbler, and he promises exciting news from all three:

- We have a wide range of new products. It is absolutely essential that when we present ourselves at a trade fair, there should also be something new to experience, and there will be., emphasizes the furniture agent, who is looking forward to seeing the visitors.

- I'm pretty sure that all our Danish customers will come, and we also know that there will be guests from Norway and Iceland and probably also Sweden. And I'm curious to see if we can entice some from the large northern German area; that could be interesting., he points out.

Maybe busy Sunday

Henrik Ejstrup has a feeling that the first day of the fair - Sunday, April 27 - could well be extra busy:

- In any case, I have said to many of the smaller stores, especially: Remember that Sunday when you are closed anyway. Then you can have a company outing, and you only have to transport yourself and the staff over to us, entrance, catering, etc. are paid for. 

- I generally hope that many people bring the whole team, because it's one thing to get the furniture home on the floor, but the employees are at least as important - they're the ones who have to sell the products when they get home., he notes.

According to the furniture agent, the success criterion for FurnitureFair is that visitors come away with new inspiration, a clearer sense of where they should focus in the coming year, and a conviction that they will of course also go to the fair in a year.

- Then we've come a long way., says Henrik Ejstrup, who is looking forward to the new trade fair on April 27-30 at MESSE C Fredericia.

Twice along the way, MESSE C has expanded the area of ​​the new furniture trade fair, which will premiere on April 27-30, 2025. Thus, almost 60 exhibitors will be in place when the doors open to the entire 10.000 m2 furniture mecca.
