NutriFair will be held every other year in the future.

Nutrifair

After NutriFair 2026, it will be two years before MESSE C opens its doors to Denmark's professional livestock fair again. The change to a new, two-year frequency has been made after thorough analyses and in close dialogue with the fair committee and exhibitors.

Mark the calendar in January 2026, 2028, 2030 and 2032.

The future regular rhythm for the fair for professionals in the Danish livestock industry will be every other year. The goal is clear: to strengthen professionalism and maintain the quality of the unique networking meeting that NutriFair constitutes.

"NutriFair has always been about professionalism and quality in the meeting with decision-makers at Danish livestock producers. The reality today is different than when we first opened the doors to NutriFair. The number of farms is steadily decreasing due to structural developments in the industry. We are therefore also experiencing that the individual decision-maker's time is more limited than before," says Ida Hahn, project manager at MESSE C.

She acknowledges that the decision may cause annoyance among some loyal exhibitors and visitors. She emphasizes that the decision has been made to safeguard the quality of the fair.

"Our desire is to create the best framework for as many people as possible to prioritize the professional meeting at NutriFair - to safeguard the space for networking, professionalism and knowledge that we have created. We can see from our bookings for 2026 that the industry supports the fair to that extent, and it is this support that we want to safeguard."

NutriFair is about the quality of the meeting

MESSE C's analyses show that the support for NutriFair is great – but the calendar is tight. The decision has been made after thorough analysis. The team behind NutriFair has, among other things, listened to the fair's committee and exhibitors before the final decision was made.

"It is a unanimous trade fair committee that is behind the decision. There is a need and a desire to preserve the space for knowledge, networking and professionalism at NutriFair. We all agree that NutriFair offers something unique. It is not about kicking the tires with the family, but about meeting about our professionalism in the industry. It will be strongest when we give as many people as possible the opportunity to prioritize NutriFair in their calendar," says Kjartan Poulsen, member of NutriFair's trade fair committee and chairman of the National Association of Danish Milk Producers.

The faithful exhibitor DLG also sees the logic in the decision and hopes that with a lower frequency they can maintain the high quality that NutriFair offers the industry.

"It makes perfect sense for us that the fair is held every other year. We are convinced that more people will take the time to talk to us and immerse themselves in the fair," says Group Marketing Manager for DLG Jeanett Grønborg and continues:

"NutriFair's strength is that it creates a space for deep conversations with decision-makers from agriculture. Visitors take the time to be at our stand, where we can talk about our news and exciting products," she says.

NutriFair is feeling the support for the upcoming fair. Almost 190 exhibitors and more than 80 percent of the last fair's total area have already been booked for the upcoming NutriFair, which will be held on January 14–15, 2026 at MESSE C Fredericia.
