Hear about Denmark's most expensive rodent at the Sewage Fair
Everyone in the sewer industry knows the rat as a challenge, but how well do we really know the animal behind the damage? In a daily lecture from the Sewer Fair stage, biologist Henrik Svaneberg Christiansen will give a different insight into the life, behavior and impressive abilities of the sewer rat. From ultrasonic communication and extreme sense of taste to its ability to find its way through water traps and up to the fifth floor.
Henrik dispels myths and presents well-documented facts about Denmark's most adaptable (and most expensive) rodent.
There will also be an opportunity for questions and professional debate, so that the audience will see the sewer rat in a new and more nuanced light.
Effective notification, less hassle – and more tasks won
Among the stage features at the sewer industry's major trade fair is ServiceAlert, which shows with a live demo how easy it is to notify citizens quickly and safely about sewer work. With ready-made templates and documentation for each broadcast, the sewer master saves time and avoids paperwork. SMS and e-Boks messages are sent in a few seconds - citizens are informed, and you show that communication is under control.
Another player on the scene is Minuba. With Minuba, you not only get digital order management that creates an overview, saves time and gives you full control over your finances. You get a comprehensive overview of your entire business – from planning and task management to finances and documentation. This saves time, minimizes errors and ensures high quality in your daily work.
If you are facing a generational change or are considering selling your business, Minuba is a strong card in your hand. With control of the numbers and well-documented processes, the company becomes more attractive and valuable to future owners. At the lecture, you can hear how Minuba has helped increase the sales price by millions.
Lots of activity
In addition to the fair's 160 exhibitors showing all the latest in the sewer industry, visitors to the fair can experience the Sewer Championship up close, when the large "sandbox" is occupied by skilled professionals competing and demonstrating their craft.
The competition is held in the following categories:
1: Trained plumbers / plant engineers.
2: Plumbers / civil engineer apprentices.
3: Partners, however, at least 1 is an apprentice plumber / structural engineer.
Electric equipment has also made its way into the sewage industry, and in the fair's second "sandbox" this very equipment will be demonstrated, where you will be able to experience, among other things, electric mini excavators, plate vibrators and vibratory rammers.
