A promise is a promise - The chairman crossed Mariager Fjord in a septic tank

When the Sewerage Fair 2026 set a new visitor record with over 5.000 visiting professionals, there was a very special consequence for the chairman of Danish Sewerage Masters, Verner H. Kristiansen.

Before the fair, Verner had promised that if the Sewage Fair set a new attendance record, he would cross Mariager Fjord in a septic tank. And as you know, a promise is meant to be kept.

Now the boat trip is complete, and thus a humorous end has been put to a record-breaking Sewage Fair.

The Sewerage Fair 2026 was the largest in the fair's history with 180 exhibitors and over 5.000 visiting professionals, who visited MESSE C in Fredericia during the two days of the fair. The fair offered plenty of professionalism, networking, demonstrations and, not least, a well-attended DM in Sewage.

We would like to thank all exhibitors, partners and visitors for helping to make the Sewerage Fair 2026 a great success.

We are already looking forward to welcoming the industry again when the Sewage Fair returns in 2028.
