Denmark is a small country, but with quite a lot of water!

MESSE CBoat Show

BOAT SHOW Denmark moves to Marina Fredericia – a new living exhibition on the water

When BOAT SHOW Denmark opens its doors in 2026, it will be in a completely new setting – directly on the water in Marina Fredericia. Here, boat dealers will have the opportunity to exhibit their boats in the element they belong in, side by side with equipment and services.

MESSE C has organized BOAT SHOW Denmark as an indoor exhibition since the 1960s, but in 2026 the many sailors can look forward to a different experience when their boats are in the water. It will be three days filled with sailing joy, activities and life in the marina, where both exhibitors and visitors will be an active part of the experience.

"With this new floating exhibition, we ensure that the entire Danish sailing public can continue to gather in Fredericia - and now in an even more relatable setting. We will offer the sailing public a kick-start to the season and for the dealers a central platform where sailors meet when interest is high," says Glen Blæsbjerg, Project Manager for BOAT SHOW Denmark.

For sailors, this means they can start the season with inspiration, upgrades or maybe even a whole new boat. The exhibition takes place on May 1-3, precisely during the period when the enthusiasm for sailing is high and when many are preparing for the season, making new investments and upgrades.

"We want to help the boating industry grow, and if we are to do that, we also need to innovate the way we do exhibitions. We need to develop and keep up with the times, and that is why we have chosen, in collaboration with the industry, that our next BOAT SHOW Denmark will be floating," explains Glen Blæsbjerg.

For many guests, a visit to BOAT SHOW Denmark has become a tradition. They associate Fredericia with BOAT SHOW, and the exhibition's central location makes it easy to reach for guests throughout the country.

"We want to create the framework for even more Danes to want to get on the water - and we believe that strong, vibrant exhibitions are an important part of the key. That is why we are extremely happy to feel the support from large parts of the industry for this new venture, and we look forward to launching the new exhibition and revealing a great program for the guests," concludes Project Manager Glen Blæsbjerg, BOAT SHOW Denmark."
