BOAT SHOW Denmark docks in Marina Fredericia

MESSE CTrade FairBoat Show

Press release

Fredericia November 21, 2025

When BOAT SHOW Denmark takes place on May 1–3, 2026, it will be completely without the classic cliché that “we open the doors”. This time there ARE no doors. The popular boat exhibition is moving out of the large halls of MESSE C and docking in Marina Fredericia – directly in the environment where boats belong.

The switch to an outdoor fair creates a vibrant and maritime atmosphere, where spring energy and the desire for new experiences on the water are at their peak.

“Spring is the perfect time to buy new equipment or upgrade. The enthusiasm and dream of getting on the water is greatest right then,” says Glen Blæsbjerg, project manager for BOAT SHOW Denmark.

The boats in their element

The new setting makes the experience even more authentic. Here, the boats are not placed on the floor of a hall – but are moored in the water, ready to be explored. It also opens up completely new activities and audience experiences.

“Marina Fredericia is easy to get to – both from land and from the water. And as an extra, we offer shuttle boats in collaboration with GoSail from the city center's Old Harbour directly to the marina and back,” says Glen Blæsbjerg.

Industry players support

One of the exhibitors who has already registered for BOAT SHOW is Thomas Hougaard, director of the Faurby Yacht shipyard. He is looking forward to the exhibition and not least to the new location at the marina:

“Faurby Yacht has previously participated in BOAT SHOW Denmark indoors, but I have dreamed of it moving outdoors. So now I hope that a fantastic exhibition can be created in the middle of Denmark, where all shipyards are represented,” says Thomas Hougaard.

Faurby Yacht is bringing 3–4 boats, including several of their sought-after deck-saloon models – including the luxury yacht Faurby 500 DS. Thomas Hougaard is looking forward to meeting the many curious visitors and getting their feedback and reactions.

Motorboats will also feature prominently. The exhibition ranges widely – from fast RIB boats to exclusive 60-foot motor yachts.

Among the motorboat dealers is Bluebay Marine A/S, which sees great potential in the new framework. Director Dan Løwe Christiansen states:

“We look forward to participating in BOAT SHOW Denmark 2026 and giving both new and existing customers the opportunity to experience our latest models directly on the water. Spring is the ideal time to continue dreaming about life at sea – or to make the decision about a new boat.

At BOAT SHOW Denmark 2026, our team will be ready with advice, inspiration and a sneak peek at next season’s exciting news. We look forward to welcoming everyone and sharing our passion for quality, innovation and all the best from the boating world.”

A maritime celebration for everyone

"BOAT SHOW Denmark 2026 will be an exhibition for the entire industry and all types of sailors - regardless of whether you are an experienced competitive sailor, recreational sailor, beginner or just out to sniff out the dream," concludes Glen Blæsbjerg.

BOAT SHOW will be held May 1–3, 2026 at Marina Fredericia, Jesper Banks Vej 18, 7000 Fredericia. Read more at www.boatshow.dk
