Blücher blocks rats and shows Atlantis at the Sewer Fair
Stainless steel pipes are bad for rats and good for the climate footprint, points out Blücher, who is participating in the Sewerage Fair 2026 in MESSE C Fredericia.
It's all about drains, pipes and fittings when Blücher A/S bids on the stand at the Kloakmessen 2026 in Fredericia. And at the same time it's also about rot, which especially in the winter months seek out our homes in large numbers due to the cold and heavy rainfall.
- We make all our drainage systems in stainless steel, which protects against rats gnawing through them - with plastic and concrete pipes there is a risk that rats can gnaw through them, notes Lars V. Andersen, Sales Manager Denmark.
- Of course, not all underground pipes need to be made of stainless steel, but we strongly recommend it under houses - we know from experience that rat-proof devices are not always 100 percent effective. If you first have to break up the floor to get down and renovate pipes, it can be a very expensive affair, adds Lars V. Andersen.
Almost invisible bestseller?
Blücher also has an exciting new product for Fredericia, namely an innovative and newly designed drain channel for the bathroom called Atlantis.
- The legendary city of Atlantis was hidden beneath the surface, and this gutter system also becomes almost invisible because it is laid down under the tiles. This will be the first time Atlantis can be experienced at a trade fair in Denmark, and we have high expectations for the product. We also have our new modular gutter Line with. Great design, cheaper price and can be pieced together from our entire range in this series - by the way, the grate meets load class B125, says Lars V. Andersen.
In addition to the news, there are also great expectations for this year's Danish Sewerage Championship, which Blücher has been a long-time co-sponsor of.
- We are very happy about the Danish Championship, and we are happy to have a stand right next to it, because the competitions attract attention and provide a good flow of visitors. And it is also a good opportunity to focus on the use of stainless steel pipes, which we supply for the Danish Championship tasks, points out Lars V. Andersen.
He is looking forward to meeting the industry on January 29-30 at MESSE C Fredericia.
- The sewer fair is always really good for us. We meet sewer masters and their journeymen; exactly the ones we want to talk to - and we make a lot of contacts that we can follow up on and arrange some meetings where we can tell what we can help our customers with, concludes Lars V. Andersen.
