Climate, energy and social responsibility
At MESSE C, we are aware of our climate, energy and social responsibilities - and we are continually working to improve in these areas.
Our environmental committee and partners ensure that we are constantly developing.
Green transition
is important
- therefore we are constantly working to do our part conferences, meetings, exhibitions og events more sustainable.
We are a large company, and therefore there are always new initiatives underway on how we can incorporate the green transition. We are proud of the points that we, together with our environmental group, have already implemented:
At the conference/at the meeting
- 90% of our lighting throughout MESSE C is energy efficient in the form of LED lighting.
- 50% of our lights in MESSE C are demand-controlled, so that they are not switched on unnecessarily.
- We sort waste internally in-house and display trash cans, sorting information, and pictograms at our conferences and meetings, so that organizers and guests are encouraged to follow our example.
- Our water installations are monitored and reviewed at least 6-8 times a year.
- Our partners use chemical-free cleaning and disinfection methods. At the same time, attention is also paid to the dosages, so that they affect the environment as little as possible.
- It is not permitted to use chemical weed killers on our grounds.
The catering
Catering in the form of food and drink
- We primarily serve tap water rather than spring water.
- We offer organic soft drinks, beer and wine at no additional cost.
- We measure the possible amount of food waste so that we can reduce the amount on an ongoing basis.
- We primarily use FairTrade, MSC, ASC and Free-range certified products.
- Our coffee is organic.
- It is possible to purchase an organic menu.
- We use seasonal, local and other raw materials, which result in a smaller environmental impact.
- We avoid scented sprays and perfumes in care products.
Transportation
It is easy to reach MESSE C by public transportation.
With Fredericia Station near our address, you can easily get to the city from all over Denmark, after which the local bus can take you the last distance.
If you need rental cars, taxis or buses, electric vehicles are our first priority when booking these.
If you visit us with your own electric car, we have 3 charging stations in our parking lot with space for 6 electric vehicles.

FAIR C is the Green Key label
As an organizer of events and trade fairs, you can make your event more environmentally friendly by choosing event or trade fair venues that are environmentally labeled with Green Key.
Green Key is your guarantee that tourism businesses, such as hotels, conference venues, campsites, restaurants and attractions, are making efforts to protect the environment.
EXHIBITION C is the "Good Access" label
It is important to us that you know the access conditions in our facilities. Therefore, you have the opportunity to get detailed information so that you know our facilities in advance and can plan what is needed to make it work for you.

Proof of purchase of eco-friendly electricity
Eco-friendly electricity ensures that the renewable energy certificates come from unspecified Nordic wind turbines.
With the proof of purchase of environmentally friendly electricity, Energi Danmark A/S confirms that FOUNDATION MESSE C has its share of the electricity consumption in the period 01.01.2024 - 31.12.2024 as Eco-Friendly Electricity produced by Nordic wind turbines.
