In many developing countries, lack of equality not only leads to violations of basic human rights for girls and women, but it is also a serious barrier to growth and better living conditions. It helps maintain poverty in these countries.

In May 2016, Denmark hosted the world's largest international congress on gender equality in the world. For this reason, Dansk Industri (DI), in collaboration with eight Danish companies, had produced a new and unique photo exhibition, which was opened by Crown Princess Mary and Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen. The exhibition visited MESSE C in Fredericia on September 1 - October 6, 2016.

To make a difference

The exhibition portrayed women's conditions in developing countries, and it demonstrated how Danish companies with Danish values take care of women's conditions and improve their lives.

The exhibition opened on 1 September, where there was an opportunity to hear about the recordings and get behind the exhibition.
