Business and networking are paramount.
Maritime Days 2025 in Fredericia is now well over, and we can look back on a fair where both exhibitors and visitors have had great value from participating. With a total number of visitors of 14.264 over the two weekends, we have created an important platform for the maritime industry – a platform where people shopped, networked and found new inspiration for the upcoming sailing season.
The evaluations show that almost 90% of exhibitors have gained new leads and thus met sailors they would not have otherwise had contact with. This shows that the show has a strong justification as a link between sailors and equipment suppliers. One exhibitor even reports that they sold as many as six boats during the show – a clear sign that both are being traded and upgraded for the sailing season.
Engaged and affluent visitors
A full 90% of visitors already own a boat larger than a traditional dinghy, confirming that the show attracts an audience that is committed to sailing. In addition, 40% of visitors have participated in between one and three presentations during the show, underlining that the interest in knowledge sharing and inspiration is high.
When it comes to trade, the figures show that half of the visitors have purchased equipment worth up to DKK 4.000 during the fair. This underlines that Maritime Days largely functions as a fair where sailors actively upgrade and prepare for the upcoming season.
A new direction takes time.
With the name change from BOAT SHOW to Maritime Days, we have tried to signal that a classic indoor boat exhibition is no longer in demand by the industry due to declining sales and high costs.
